I was born and raised in Laramie. After high school, I moved to Portland to attend LeCordon Bleu culinary school and train as a pastry chef. I fell in love with the city, and I spent the next 8 years working as a pastry chef in Portland. There, I became well-known for my talents and was lucky enough to work for some very prestigious chefs.

Then one day I took a road trip from Portland to Alaska with my friend, and I became hooked on moving out of the city and closer to the mountains. After a few months of hard work, I bought a car and moved to a tiny mountain town in Alaska. There, I spent the next five years climbing mountains with a bike or snowboard on my back and riding down those mountains as fast as I could.

After five years in Alaska and a short stop in Steamboat, I decided to move back to my hometown to be closer to my family. A friend suggested I consider an insurance career, and after some research, I knew it was the right fit for me. After, fifteen years, I finally left the restaurant industry to start my career as an insurance agent, where I get to fulfill my other passion of helping others.

I’m very excited to start my new career with such a great company and to become a solid part of the community I love and that raised me. I look forward to helping you with your needs and sharing a story.

Favorite Season: Summer is my favorite and absolute best in Laramie. I love taking the kids and pups up to the mountains or just the daily walks to the park after a long work day.

Beverage of Choice: I love an Arnold Palmer and occasionally spike it with good bourbon.

Books or Movies: My favorite movies are anything old school that involves Arnold Schwarzenegger. Specifically Commando. I'm also a sucker for Ace Ventura pet detective.

Favorite Quote: "When I was five years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy.' They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life." - John Lennon
